The Masseria was built in the XVI century. As many other Apulian Masseria, the Masseria Torre Coccaro was a sighting tower built in order to avoid the attacks of the Turkish pirates. And now the Masseria is a five stars deluxe resort set in a large estate overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
We offer the guests to take a refreshing swim in a fantastic swimming pool among olive trees and palms in which we invites the guests to come to a snack bar which is called ‘Cabana' that offers delicious buffet of vegetables, barbecue delicacies, and fresh cheeses like ‘burrata' and ‘mozzarella'.
We also have the Spa Aveda in a fascinating caves, a fitness Techno gym, indoor pool, Jacuzzi and the Hammam ‘Turkish bath' to enjoy relaxing massages and beauty treatments. Our own Coccaro Golf Club with 9 holes executive and a driving range and nearby 1 km at the shuttle of ‘San Domenico Golf Club', 18 holes championship course directly on the sea. A horse riding centre for excursions on the beach and through the ancient olive groves. We also offer a private yacht of 14 meters for excursions along the coast. And Coccaro Beach Club with a beautiful sandy beach with dunes, fish restaurant, sushi and oyster bar, lounges and Massage Pavilions.
The restaurant Egnathia under the arched ceiling will serve you the traditional Apulian specialties with a creative Mediterranean cuisine of our young chef in which all our products is produced organically at Masseria. We also offer you to learn to cook in our own cooking school where you will learn the secret of traditional Apulian cuisine.
In the Masseria you can organize a business meetings, it become more appealing under the ancient ceilings of the haylofts, in front of the fireplace or in an ancient ‘Frantoio' in which people used to get olives. And a meeting room, gala dinner in an old oil-mill cave which is surrounded by candle lights in an open air of thousand stars.
Classic Superior in this room you will experience the genuine pleasure of living in a farm, looking at true colors and scents of countryside. The rooms are fitted with a bathtub, small tables, armchair for breakfast and made with ancient furniture.
Junior The room appears in white and elegant among olive trees. Some is fitted with stone fireplace located in ancient farmyard, some in the ancient XVI century tower, the balcony overlooking the sea and the olive groves.
Junior suite the suites are three which are located in the tower. The splendid suites of the Orchard, is a large suite in an antique grotto, perfect for anybody's dream. With its own private garden, ancient cave of XVII century with hydro massage pool.
Orange Garden Suite a large private ancient orange garden with heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, all in the rock a lounge area with fireplace and a large bedroom with hi-fi system and a large indoor Jacuzzi.
